Websites as Graphs

Just found this neat little web app(let) that creates a graph of any site online. Different color dots represent different tags of html code, although I don't think I'm quite proficient enough with HTML to take anything really meaningful away from the graph. Above is the parent page of this blog, website13156 (aka my design portfolio page). Check it out yourself, just replace the address in this url.

Stacey’s Photobooth project

The above image is one of the final pieces my girlfriend Stacey, a photography major, will be displaying at her own show at EMU this summer. It was made entirely with photo strips taken from a photobooth -- no digital work. Setting up the composition the way she did is still kind of mind-boggling to me, and I think it turned out really well. She just set up a flickr; so far it's just this and pictures of our new apartment, but you can check out the large version of this image here.

Atlantis

So some time ago Media Genesis moved into a building with way too many conference rooms and the only way to keep them straight was to assign each the name of fictitious place. Some time after that it was decided that each room should have a poster for the door, and that each designer at Media G could do one. I drew Atlantis.
My friend and co-worker Matt got mine and his printed yesterday, and the prints look great. I'll try and post a photo of it "in action" next week maybe. I love projects where I get to write my own copy -- now no one can ever say the phrase "don't get bit" isn't printed somewhere inside our office.

Sorry to everyone who has commented on here, I've been getting a ton of spam in the comments and accidentally deleted all but one. Oops. Anyone got any advice for preventing "Konstantinos" from posting comments about sexy teens?
A new poster is being printed today, I'll post when it's done. The image above is from some new client work that I might be able to post in full later. I also have a post cooking about this logo I did awhile ago.

Between moving to a new city, playing GTA IV, and watching my beloved Chelsea move into the Champions League final, things have been entirely too busy to write a proper blog post. I did, however, hear a rumor that the AIGA Urban Forest Project posters were being put up in Ann Arbor today, so I'll post pictures once I have them.
